<P dir=ltr>This is to inform you that the proposed code amendment cycle to the
2010 update to the Florida Building Code will commence March 1, 2010 and will
close by midnight April 2, 2010. The draft 2010 update to the Florida Building
Code (FBC) consists of the 2009 International Building Codes (I-Codes) as the
foundation and the Florida specific requirements currently existing within the
2007 Florida Building Code and compiled in documents title "Florida Supplements
to the 2009 I-Codes".</P></FONT><FONT face=Arial>

<P dir=ltr>Proposed code modifications are accepted electronically via the
</FONT><U><FONT face="Times New Roman" color=#0000ff><FONT
face="Times New Roman"
color=#0000ff>www.floridabuilding.org</U></FONT></FONT><FONT
face="Times New Roman"> website. In order to stream-line the code modification
submittal process, a new and improved "Code Modification Module" has been
developed. Under the new Code Modification Module, there is no need to download
a form. All of the information necessary to submit a modification may now be
