<DIV><SPAN class=492410411-01102009><FONT face="Courier New">I reviewed
specific ESR for ICF walls in question. (ESR is not part of the
product approvals for State or Miami-Dade. Don't know why.
ESR has a lot more information than can be downloaded at either
website.) There is a section in the ESR that states termite
prevention must be provided as required by code. ESR does
not mention anything about an option for termiticide. Maybe this
is provided by manufacturer when requested by purchaser.
Interestingly, the ICF manufacturer has a mesh material that they use for
termite prevention on some of their walls. It was not listed as
an option for the ICF walls noted on plans under review. At this
point, the responsibility for showing code compliance falls on the design
professional. Again, thanks to all that replied on this
topic.</FONT></SPAN></DIV>
