Good Evening.

I have a question that I have asked my local Building Department and have got several answers. I have been

told that we can change between 2 to 4 sheets of Plywood/OSB when re-roofing. I have asked several

Roofing Contractors the same question and it varies for 6 sheets to no limit. I was given a copy of:

FRSA Governent Insider. 2008 Legislative Session Over. Roofing Contractor License Scope to include

Deck Attachment & Wood Sheathing Replacement. HB 697 by Gary Aubuchon (R-Cape Coral) relating to

the Florida Building Code.

My question is: How many sheets of Plywood/OBS (4'x8') can be replaced during re-roofing a building

by a State Certified Roofing Contractor (CCC license)? Does a CCC license have the same scope as a State

Cerified: Residental (CRC), Building (CBC), or General (CGC) Contractor has when re-roofing a building?

Thank you for your input.
