Good morning group. I am embarrassed to say that I have no written or oral agreement addressing this issue of materials stolen from my job site. My subcontractor is furnishing all labor and materials to provide and erect a steel building for me. We do have a written contract agreement to do exactly that, but no reference is made regarding who is responsible for replacing stolen materials. I would appreciate your thoughts on this. The materials were stolen during a lapse in schedule time while the subcontractor was re-fabricating components to correct his mistakes from not adhering to the design plans per the contract.
